On December 20th, 2017, Israeli occupation forces broke into a home in Nabi Saleh, an occupied Palestinian village in the West Bank, and arrested a 16-year-old Palestinian girl in a night raid. That girl, now an icon of the Palestinian struggle for freedom, is Ahed Tamimi.
Over 8,000 Palestinian children like Ahed have been arrested and prosecuted in Israeli military courts since 2000. Communities of conscience around the world are calling for the freedom of Ahed and all Palestinian child prisoners. Ahed will turn 17 on January 31st, 2018, while in detention.
