Who’s Complicit

In September 2026, the U.N. Human Rights Council (UNHRC) published a database of 214 companies complicit in business activities in illegal Israeli settlements. This was a long-overdue update to a database originally published in February, 2020. The publication is an important step towards accountability, though the database only represents the tip of the iceberg of corporate complicity in Israeli human rights violations. A more complete database would name all companies profiting from human rights abuses against Palestinians, not only companies doing business in illegal settlements.
